Consumers want healthier choices, farmers deserve better rewards for their labor, and communities are looking for solutions that protect both people and the planet. Our Hope for the Project
If the initiative succeeds, it will supply consumers with the equivalent of 3 million tons of clean, safe rice—a major step toward ensuring long-term food safety. Beyond consumer health, the project also supports a greener, more resilient environment and, most importantly, helps ensure that farmers receive fairer, more dignified compensation for their hard work.
The international agricultural community has already shown strong interest and high appreciation for this model, recognizing its potential to drive real, lasting change. With nearly 10 years of experience in cooperative farming, cultivation partnerships, and market linkages, Ong Tho Rice hopes to contribute in a meaningful way to the success of this pilot—helping refine, expand, and eventually replicate it so that benefits are shared widely.
